Why Travel?
In 1924, when George Mallory was asked why he wanted to scale Mount Everest, he replied simply, Because it's there.
When people ask me what my reasons are for for taking this trip around the world, my answer is the same. Because it's there.
Unfortunately, Mallory died in his quest to reach the world's highest summit. I intend on making it back home, alive and healthy. Along the way, I will do my best to blog my entire trip and keep it interesting enough for you 9-to-5ers to pass some time at work!
