Nine more days...

(T-minus 9 days) I freely admit I have no artistic talent when it comes to designing a website. The plain blue color scheme will have to do for now.

Nine days left before I leave. Nothing blog worthy has happened so far. Unless you want to hear about how I rotated my tires and changed the oil on my car. Which I won't drive again for another year. New Jersey is such a boring place.

Thanks to everyone for their support and comments! Knowing people are reading keeps me motivated to continue the updates!

Site is fine, it takes time to get it the way you want it. Wish I could go on a trip like yours.

NJ is completely boring!!! I feel like NYC takes all the good stuff. There's just no give!

Your site's fine. Simple. Some people have too much going on, background too busy, etc.

I don't know whether to be extremely excited for you or overly envious of you. These last few days may seem forever but by the time it's time for take off, you'll wonder where the time went. And I'm glad you decided to create a travel blog so that we can all see what you're up to on your worldwide quest. -=oD Stay up.

Wow, how exciting! The acticipation of the trip has its own very unique feel. For me, it always creates a little internal turmoil. On the one hand, I can't wait to start; on the other, it's never copletely easy to leave your comfort zone and the "normal" life you're accustomed to.

Time will tell what your trip will be like. But one thing I'm certain of is that you don't have to be worried about being bored.

All the best from your former co-workers in Pittsburgh.

Good Luck! I spent $7000 mostly in Japan and Hong Kong during the summer of 1987. I was there for almost four months and I had a great time. I probably miss you but try to be in Nagoya, Japan for the World's Fair that runs March 26th - early Sept.

Bring the cheapest laptop and digital camera and watch your back(except Japan). I wish that I can go with you but my family and business has my first commitment.

Hey Marky Mark :) Can't believe you're leaving!! Maybe you can make a stop up here in Canada before heading back home after your trip! hehehe... But then again, by the time that happens, I might be doing what you're getting ready to do now! Don't forget to keep in touch - maybe we will be able to meet up in Asia somewhere in a few months. Take care!
